The girls
I joined the percussion team since last year and music has really guided me through many obstacles. I have learnt to put my frustrations and anger onto the drums. I really enjoy every piece of rhythm I play. Playing percussion has become part of my life and I believe I can be a successful percussionist one day. Every piece of music I play, I put in my heart and soul. I have never realised my potential in playing percussion until I came to AG Home. I really thank God for everything.

As I was from the Normal Technical stream, doing the ‘O’ Levels was a big jump for me. There were times I felt like giving up my studies and throwing my books away… Overcoming my struggles, I am now in Simei ITE doing business studies in sports management. Thankfully, AGLC is not all about all about studying. Trough its skills development programme, I have also learnt how to cook and play the guitar. Most importantly, the character building programme has enabled me to grow and develop my character continuously. I thank God for leading me and giving me hope at all times.

I love AG Home! Ah Pa and Mummy Grace treat us just like their own children. All the staff in AG shower us with their love and concern.

During my 3 years stay in AG Home, I was taught to be responsible, to make the right choice in life, and most importantly learn from my mistake and not to repeat it.
With the help of AG Home, I was able to realise my dream of being a graphic designer through a sponsorship by National Youth Council (NYC) to study in LaSalle SIA.

Though it has only been about 10 months, AG Home has given me lots of opportunities in terms of dance, percussion and singing. Before I came to here, I never noticed these talents in me. I’m glad that my dreams are coming true, all thanks to the staff especially Pastor Andrew. He has taught me lots of things such as never give up and never run away from problems. I love performing for AG Home.

I’ve been staying in AG Home for over 2 years. It has always been my dream to cook for people. Ever since I came here, they gave me a chance to cook. Every dish I cook, I will put in a lot of effort. I thank AG home for making my dream come true and getting a professional chef to teach me. Through it may be tiring, I am proud of be a chef of AG Café.

I was once a drug addict and I had stop taking up
sports for a long time. Since I came in to AG Home,
I was encouraged by Pastor Andrew and Coach Devi to
pick up sports again. When I saw their spirit of
togetherness, it really inspired me. So I started to
put in all my effort for sports. I feel that sports
helped me a lot. It takes away my stress and
negative emotions, and it improves my health. I feel
more energetic and confident too.
