AG Flames
The percussion team AG Flames ... for the musically-inclined youths ...
AG Flames are formed in November 2005 with the help of Roland, our volunteer instructor who introduced the concept of trash percussion. It was a humble beginning as we knew nothing about trash percussion and had no idea how far we could go.
Our first assignment was to collect trash and recycled materials. With $0 start-up cost, we began our regular drumming lessons with a few big bottles and a few pairs of sticks. That was all we had. We then made our first public performance at AG Home's 7th Anniversary celebration and that spelled the start of many other performing opportunities. It boosted our confidence as a team and motivated us to practice our music even harder.
