AG Cafe
With the help of various volunteers, AG Café was set up in February 2006 to equip residents of the Home with relevant skills needed in the Food and Beverage (F& B) industry.
Aiming to enhance the employability of the girls upon discharge, this cafe plays host to a wide-ranging scale of events to allow the girls to hone skills imparted by volunteers who are well-versed with the F&B industry. These events include informal fund-raising meals to formal sit-down dinners for representatives from various corporations and government bodies. Besides learning how to manage an industry-standard kitchen, the residents also learn other soft skills like customer service and personal presentation skills.
